How
to Apply |

Application Form attached with the Prospectus must be filled
up in Capital Letters. A photocopy of the relevant certificates
should also be attached with the application form at the
time of admission. Students should mention the name of the
Elective selected for study in the space provided in the
Application Form. Application for admission along with prescribed
fee by DD drawn in favour of “National Institute of
Management Education & Research” payable at Bangalore
should reach the Institute before the last date given in
the Application Form. A covering letter mentioning the purpose
of remittance of any fees should accompany the DD. However,
the candidate can enroll for the study any time in a year,
since the enrollment is offered round the year. Furnish
correct address with PIN Code to ensure proper delivery
of letters. Change of address must be intimated to the Institute
without delay. The necessary fee must be paid along with
the Application Form for consideration of the admission.
Students should write on the reverse side of the DD his/
her name and the name of the Course they propose to join.
After getting enrolled the students will receive the following:

Enrollment Letter.
-
Study Materials.
-
Assignments and Case study Project.
-
Examination Registration Form.
ENROLMENT NUMBER
Enrolment Number will be assigned to each candidate on admission.
The enrolment number will hold good for
the whole course of study: Students should invariably quote
their enrolment number in all their correspondence with NIMER.
Letters received without the enrolment number will not be
attended to.
IDENTITY CARD
Each student will be supplied by NIMER with an identity card,
which is valid till the completion of the course or
on discontinuance of the course by the candidate. Students
are instructed to keep their Identity Card safely till the
completion of the course. They should note that the examination
Hall Tickets will be issued by the Chief Superintendent of
the examination centers, only on production of these identity
cards. If the original card is lost, a duplicate card will
be issued on payment of Rs.250/- and the payment, is to be
made by means of an Account Payee Demand Draft drawn in favour
of the “National Institute of Management Education &
Research” payable at Bangalore, together with a passport
size photograph (recently taken).
CHANGE OF ADDRESS
Lessons and all communications will be sent to the candidates
at the address given in the admission form. Any change in
the address should be intimated to NIMER Head Office immediately
with enrollment number. The candidates are advised to make
necessary arrangements in the post-office for getting the
lessons and other letters redirected to their new address,
since NIMER will take at least a month to incorporate the
new address. A fee of Rs.250/- is to be paid through Demand
Draft in favour of “National Institute of Management
Education & Research”, payable at Bangalore.
CHANGE OF NAME
Students who wish to have their names changed in the records
of NIMER at the time of admission or during the course of
study must apply for the same with original Gazette notification.
A Demand Draft for Rs.500/- drawn in favour of " National
Institute of Management Education & Research " payable
at Bangalore towards the fee prescribed for effecting the
change must be enclosed along with the application. The fact
will be intimated to the student concerned only on his/her
Specific request.
CHANGE OF ELECTIVES
Students desirous of changing the elective subject (if they
fulfill the eligibility conditions) chosen during the commencement
of I Semester of Executive MBA and III Semester of MBA (Two
years) may apply for it on a payment of Rs.500/- before attending
the first Personal Contact Programme.
CONTACT STUDY ONLINE
Regular contact studies are available on line to help the
students clear their doubts arising after the study of the
modules. The queries will be answered then and there by our
eminent faculty. In this area doubts arising in Case Study
Project and Assignments may also be discussed in detail with
suggestions and solutions from both the students and the faculty.
DISPATCH OF STUDY MATERIALS
Comprehensive study material will be supplied to all the students.
Each book is written in self-instructional style. In addition,
students will be encouraged to refer recommended books, whenever
necessary. The Institute will start dispatching study materials
semester-wise within a week after the commencement of the
study. Students who are in arrears of fee will not be eligible
to get the study materials in time. Any student who does not
receive the study materials must contact the Institute at
the earliest. |
